SO...I've read the first book of this five-book series, and I...FREAKING LOVED IT!!!! So...I'm reading the second one right now, and I wanted to write a review on the first one. Fablehaven is an adventure that moves you, like your right there, and there is never a dull or uninteresting moment, yet, at the same time, its not fully action packed to the point where it doesn't seem real. Seth and her older sister, Kendra, have to stay with their grandparents who, are kind-of hermits, and almost never visit with the family. Kendra and Seth aren't very thrilled, in fact, they're a bit afraid, but, because their parents were going on a cruise, on which they could not come, nor did they really want to, they had little choice. But, what Kendra and Seth did not know, is why their grandparents almost never left their home, and it is nothing ordinary at all. I'd tell you what it is, and so will the back of the book, but, I think it's way better if left a surprise, I didn't read the back, and I was shocked when I found out. This is my ULTIMATE favorite book and I recommend it to kids about 10 or 11 and up, only because its pretty big and, you know, the reading level.
Thank you for reading ;)
